Jordan Named Keynote Speaker for Kick-Off Dinner

Former educator and motivational humorist Riney Jordan is the keynote speaker for the Krum ISD Education Foundation Kick-Off Dinner set for Sept. 27.

Jordan has served as a teacher, principal, school public relations director, and assistant

to the superintendent over a 30-year period at Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, a suburban school district near Dallas/Fort Worth. His school district honored him by naming him their “Teacher of the Year.” Two communities have honored him as their “Citizen of the Year.” The Texas School Board Association and Texas School administrators honored him as the “2000 Texas Key Communicator of the Year,” and the Texas Legislature recognized his work by passing a resolution honoring him as an exemplary Texas.

In his keynote address entitled “I’m here to H.E.L.P.”, Jordan will share first-hand experiences from his thirty-year career in public education, and emphasize why it is so important to love and care for children.

The Krum ISD Education Foundation Kick-Off Dinner is set for Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Krum High School Cafeteria, located at 700-A Bobcat Boulevard, Krum Texas 76249. The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. and the dinner begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.
