The Krum ISD Education Foundation's 2023 KEF Fall Gala was held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Chapel Creek Ranch in Denton, Texas.
The Gala was a sold out event featuring both silent and live auctions. An amazing, albeit somewhat spicy, dinner was catered by Patriotic Pig BBQ out of North Richland Hills and entertainment was provided by the incredibly talented musicians from Pete's Dueling Pianos!
Eric Borchardt, president of the Krum ISD School Board, and Kory Keifer presided over the live auction which included a CZ USA Drake Over/Under Shotgun, donated by First United Bank in Krum, a week stay at a Galveston Beach House, donated by Krum ISD School Board member Brooke Fouts, a complete orthodontics case, donated by Dr. Chris Cramer of Cramer Orthodontics, a beautiful dining room table, hand crafted by Kevin Brearley, and a metal fire pit, courtesy the Krum ISD Ag Department.
All told, the Krum ISD Education Foundation was able to raise over $141,750 in a single night, breaking all previous records!

At the end of the evening, Foundation Chairman Bradley McBride gave a rousing speech announcing the fundraising
record set and recognizing the volunteers for their contribution to the Foundation, "This evening's success can only be attributed to the efforts of a small but dedicated group of volunteers who make up the heart and soul of the Krum ISD Education Foundation!"
