First Outside Grant Awarded to KEF

Krum ISD Education Foundation is excited to announce that it was awarded a $35,000 grant through the Denton County CARES grant program and the United Way of Denton County. The funds were used to purchase 103 Chromebooks for elementary school remote learners. This helps the District move toward 1:1 technology for remote learners without depleting class sets of Chromebooks. These Chromebooks will remain in the student inventory when school returns to fully in-person. This is the first external grant initiated by and awarded to KEF and is the largest donation received since the Foundation was first formed. #DentonCountyCARES
