Part-Time Nonprofit Executive Director
The Executive Director is the key management leader of Krum ISD Education Foundation (KEF). The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. The part-time position reports directly to the Board of Directors.
General Responsibilities:
Partnering with the Board of Directors to fulfill the organization’s mission and effectively communicating with the Board to make necessary decisions on a timely basis.
Development of resources to ensure the financial health of the organization. Includes fundraising, development of annual budget and reporting of monthly financial statements, partnering with investment management firm to monitor portfolio health and growth.
Working with board and staff to ensure the mission is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning, and community outreach.
Overseeing of hiring and retention of qualified resources to ensure that operations of the organization are appropriate.
Professional Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidates must pass in-depth background check.
Average of ten hours per week (hours fluctuate based on time of year).
Targeted start date February 2022.
Minimum age 21.
Transparent and high integrity leadership.
High-level strategic thinking and planning.
Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff.
Demonstrated self-starter.
Solid organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, program development, and task facilitation.
Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision making, and reporting.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong public speaking ability.
Strong work ethic with a high degree of energy.
