KHS Class of 2021 Awarded 7 Scholarships

On May 24, 2021, Krum ISD Education Foundation awarded seven Class of 2021 graduating seniors scholarships, each in the amount of $1,000. The Foundation was proud to present these scholarships to the chosen students at the annual KHS Academic Awards Night. In addition to the KEF Senior Scholarship, CoServ Senior Scholarship, McBride Health Sciences Senior Scholarship, Cramer Orthodontics Scholarship, and Janeda Peploe Memorial Scholarship, KEF awarded a new, additional scholarship titled the Lip Sync Battle 2020 Scholarship. This scholarship was awarded to the winning entry of the Class of 2021 category in the Foundation's virtual fundraising event for the 2020-2021 school year, the KEF Lip Sync Battle.

KEF awarded its first senior scholarship in 2016. The Foundation had a single scholarship offering at that time - the Janeda Peploe Memorial Scholarship. Since that time, the scholarship offering has grown to include five different senior scholarships, each in the amount of $1,000. In five years, the Foundation has awarded $21,000 in senior scholarships.

The Foundation is proud to be part of the continuing education journey of these deserving students.
