The Krum Education Foundation recently was presented with a $25,000 grant through RDO Equipment Co. and R.D. Offutt Company’s Community Builder program.
Daryl Shelton, Vice President for RDO Equipment Co., presented the check at the Krum Education Foundation’s Jan. 11 board meeting. Shelton also serves as the Foundation’s board chair.
“We have invested in a long-term, annual commitment to support the goals and mission of the Foundation, and have quickly seen the impact this investment has made to enhance the education experience of our youth,” said Shelton, who submitted the application on behalf of the Foundation.
“We are so grateful for the kind generosity of RDO Equipment Co. and R.D. Offutt Company. This grant award will make a substantial impact to continue the Education Foundation’s goals of preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s challenges,” said the Foundation’s Board of Directors in a written statement.
Launched in summer 2015, the Community Builder program is designed to support the charitable organizations RDO Equipment Co. & R.D. Offutt Company team members work with. The grants awarded are meant to be transformative and impactful to the benefiting charities.
“Our Community Builder program builds upon our value of community involvement at RDO while mirroring the passion of giving back, which is the legacy of my father and our Founder, Ron Offutt, along with the other members of our family,” said Christi Offutt, Chair of RDO Equipment Co. and R.D. Offutt Company.
