If your elementary student is an artist, this message is for you! KEF is holding a contest for the cover art for the 2021-2022 school year take-home folders! The purpose of this contest is to provide an opportunity for Krum ISD K-5 students to have their artwork featured on the cover of the 2021-2022 KEF Take-Home Folder. Introducing the Little Lending Library
The Krum ISD Education Foundation was honored to fund a grant to Krum Early Education 1st Grade teacher Lauren Hamilton and Librarian Christina Draper, to establish a Little Lending Library at the EEC! This library is free, open to the public, and is a great way to share books among members of the community.

First Outside Grant Awarded to KEF
Krum ISD Education Foundation is excited to announce that it was awarded a $35,000 grant through the Denton County CARES grant program and the United Way of Denton County. The funds were used to purchase 103 Chromebooks for elementary school remote learners. This helps the District move toward 1:1 technology for remote learners without depleting class sets of Chromebooks.
