Grant Outcome Series: Flexible Seating for Flexible Learners
Some students have a lot of energy. For some of these students, all this energy makes it hard to sit and focus on their work. Through a grant from the Krum ISD Education Foundation, students in Mrs. Middleton’s class at Blanche Dodd Intermediate have the option of flexible seating arrangements. KEF Turns Out to Support Krumtry Fest
Krum ISD Education Foundation volunteers helped over 60 booth vendors pack up their wares and then carry everything out to their vehicles at the 2019 Krumtry Fest community event. This was especially appreciated because it was very rainy day. After the spaces were cleared, we worked together to sweep the entire school cafeteria and gym, set up the cafeteria with the lunch tables, pick up trash and debris inside and outside the school, and clean the bathrooms. 2019 High School Student Enrichment Grant Awards
The Krum ISD Education Foundation is excited to announce our Student Enrichment Grant winners for 2019 at Krum High School! Nina Alambar, Devyn Lucas, and Victoria Sprague received funding for their Dual Credit Courses! This scholarship will be awarded annually to awarded annually to a graduating KHS senior who plans to pursue post-secondary education at an accredited institution, and is made possible by the generous contribution of our donors!


2019 McBride Health Sciences Scholarship
Congratulations to Madeline Murray on being awarded the inaugural McBride Health Sciences Scholarship Award at Monday's Senior Awards Night. This scholarship will be awarded annually to awarded annually to a graduating KHS senior who plans to pursue post-secondary education at an accredited institution in a recognized health sciences field.. 2019 Janeda Peploe Scholarship Award
On May 13, 2019, KEF Chairman Stacy McDaniel announced Ms. Hadley Brooks as the 2019 Janeda Peploe Scholarship recipient. Mrs. Kelsi Bannahan and Mr. Bret McDaniel presented the $1000 scholarship to Ms. Brooks during the 2019 KHS Academic Awards and Senior Night Ceremony. The Janeda Peploe Memorial Scholarship was established through a generous endowment by Mrs. Loretta Powers, a KISD alumnus and former student of Ms. Peploe.
